4.1.2.1.1 Our Structure Relating to Impartiality

Meth Xpert New Zealand Ltd is committed to providing the highest level of accurate and quality reports and testing. Providing a superior service from highly qualified and trained staff using the leading training and technology.

Meth Xpert New Zealand Ltd is the “master franchise” and is responsible for the Quality Management, Operation and Procedures and Impartially of the individual “franchisees.”

The legal and financial separation of activity areas in Meth Xpert New Zealand Ltd is continuously monitored to ensure impartiality. 
  
4.1.2.1.2 Impartiality General Principles

​The following principles are applicable to the entire Meth Xpert New Zealand Ltd to assure impartiality and reduce the risks of conflicts of interest:

i) We identify, document, analyse and mitigate risks to impartiality on an ongoing basis. 
ii) All our employees as well as Franchisee Directors must adhere to Section 4.1 of the Quality Management Manual and disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest closest to the time of occurrence or at least annually. Such disclosures are then analysed and appropriate risk mitigation measures undertaken. As per signed conflict of interest agreements, all parties have the responsibility to update declarations as new situations arise that may pose a conflict of interest.
iii) External oversight of our impartiality is provided periodically by independent, third party accreditation bodies or external assessment agencies.
iv) No staff member can have any financial interest in Methamphetamine remediation companies to ensure Meth Xpert New Zealand remains impartial and gives unbiased advice at all times. Staff are paid hourly, this ensures that they are in no way financial influenced or remunerated in a way that could affect their inspection activities.
v) While we may recommend remediation companies by referring Meth Xpert New Zealand Ltd clients to an internet search engine to support a decontamination enquiry, we do not state or imply that remediation would be simpler, easier, faster or less expensive if any specified decontamination contractor is used:

a) We do not and shall not have any agreements with nor engage in any financial or contractual arrangements with a Methamphetamine remediation companies (decontaminator’s) in which (a) we remunerate the decontaminator’s if the decontaminator’s recommends a client to Meth Xpert New Zealand Ltd; or (b) conversely, the decontaminator’s pays us for a recommendation of the consultant to the client;
b) We do not and shall not engage any decontaminator’s to act as sales agents for us.
vi) On an individual level, our primary focus of impartially is to ensure that any person performing tasks related to our services or recommended as part of the process leading from our services is free from conflict of interests and processes are performed objectively and in an impartial manner.​
